CCBFA Presents: Agricultural Marketing Service and USDA September 19, 2019

Come join CCBFA as we are joined by Anthony Chartrand and Mark Grzeszkowiak for this presentation.   They will speak about USDA and grading. There will be a grading demonstration during the seminar! Do you know how meat and Poultry is Graded? Bring your questions for USDA.

Bio: Anthony Chartrand has been with (USDA) United States Department of Agriculture for 33 years. He started in Florida in 1986 and held the position of Agricultural Commodity Grader for the next 9 years. He then became the Assistant Officer-in-Charge in the North Brunswick, NJ Office from 1995-1997. For the last 23 years he has been the Officer-in-Charge of the South Bend Area Office. The office covers all or parts of 8 states. He oversees inspection operations of processed and fresh fruits & vegetables in those states. This includes inspection of 8E Marketing Order items and Export Certifications. He also oversee production of Military Rations at 4 facilities in 3 states. He supervises an inspection staff of 48 people.

Mark Grzeszkowiak, Chief Agriculture Specialist from the Port of Chicago will also be joining Mr. Chartrand for this presentation.  Mark will be speaking on ACE so bring all your questions for him.
