Claims for loss or damage are prevalent in the transportation industry and can affect each entity that is involved with the transportation of goods. As part of this seminar, Michelle Mejia, an Attorney at the law firm of Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A. (“ST&R”), will discuss the need to design contracts that limit your liability, the increasing trend of shipper-drafted contracts, and best practices to minimize your liability exposure. Ms. Mejia will also discuss what to do if a claim is filed against you or you are served with a lawsuit.
